The Côte d’Azur is situated in the far south-east of France and borders Italy. It is in the Alpes-Maritime department and includes the Principality of Monaco.
Boasting an international airport, the Côte d’Azur is barely more than an hour’s flight from Paris or two hours from London.
It is a land of contrasts with two faces, “sea and mountains”.
The Côte d’Azur, with its 120 km of coast and 40 km of sandy or shingly beaches, offers a myriad of treasures to be discovered without restraint. The mountains are also abundant with peaks soaring to more than 3000 m and one of the seven French national parks, the Parc du Mercantour. Its exceptional climate boasts more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
