Wherever you land, Rémi or one of our excellent chauffeurs will be there to drive you through the scenic countryside up to the Château.

Soon you will be ensconced in the historic elegance of your suite. Step out onto your terrace, inhale the clear air and rest your eyes on the magnificent views down the sweep of hillside to the turquoise sea.

Day 1

Breakfast on the terrace is a truly magical beginning to your day, with astonishing views from Nice to Cannes you see the whole Riviera come to life.

Take a ten minute drive to the Maeght Foundation in St-Paul-de-Vence, home to one of the largest collections of 20th century art including Miró sculptures and an extraordinary Chagall mural.

Stroll through the cobbled streets of St-Paul de Vence, second most visited village in France, where great artists from Picasso to Matisse found their inspiration. Sip a refreshing glass of Provencal "Vin de Bellet" and test your petanque skill in the main square.

Lunch at the famous La Colombe d’Or whose corridors are lined with original art works by celebrated habitués of the past. The menu is by Paul Roux; try his signature dish, a selection of hors d’oeuvre specialties from the Midi.

Head back to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon. Meander along the garden paths to the infinity pool, which seemingly spills over the gentle slope of lawns. Refresh and revive in this exquisite setting, while discreet staff serves crushed iced drinks.
If it’s too quiet for the children check-out the programme of our Kids area, where they can share exciting activities, games and laughter with new friends (open from July to August).

As cocktail hour approaches shower off the sunshine and prepare for a cool trip to our historic wine cellar where more than 12 000 bottles are stored. Carved into the rocks beneath the Château, it is an atmospheric place to sample our sommelier’s fine selection.

Your Clef d’Or Concierge will be delighted to reserve one of the many charming local restaurants in Vence for dinner. This extremely picturesque Medieval town is just five minutes from the Château. Immerse yourself in the romantic Provencal atmosphere at "La Farigoule" or dine at "L’Auberge des Seigneurs" to sample their succulent wood fire roasts.

Return to the warm elegance of the Château’s bar Le Rossini for our signature after dinner cocktail - a swirling blend strawberry puree and champagne. The room is finished in a marvellous regal splendour with 18th century objets d’art, an exquisite Musson timepiece and 200-year-old Gobelins tapestries.

Head to Antibes and begin your day at the colourful Provencal market. Afterwards stroll along to the Picasso Museum, seduced by the blue sea views Picasso stayed here to create a superb ceramics collection.

Dedicate the afternoon to relaxation on Cap d’Antibes’ Joseph Keller beach. A private space is reserved for the guests of Château Saint-Martin & Spa.

Returning to the Château, enjoy a reviving Sisley treatment in our Spa gazebo; draped in wisteria and white muslin, this is a secluded garden of Eden, dedicated to Spa and pure beauty.

Time for some elegance. Le Rossini is a bar that embodies all the historic style of the French Riviera, toast the glorious view with chilled champagne.

The grand event of the evening will be a gastronomic feast at Le Saint-Martin by Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois. Consider his specialty; the sea bass in a pistachio crust with "pichounette" olives polenta and artichokes poivrade. Dining on the terrace as the Riviera glitters to life below is a magical luxury that will live with you forever.

Day 3

A leisurely lie in, enjoying the views towards the blue Mediterranean; the scenery is so lovely you may choose a private breakfast on your terrace.

Practice your forehand on the Château’s clay tennis courts, or join one of our pros to brush up your game.
The walk to the courts takes you by the old Roman way crossing the park.

Stroll through the gardens to L’Oliveraie for a typical South of France lunch seated in the shade of ancient olive trees. The menu of sunny Mediterranean flavours offers pizzas from a wood-fired oven, zesty salads, herb-infused grills and teppanyaki shellfish.

Before you leave drop into the boutique and pick up something to remind you of your stay, perhaps an oil from your Spa treatment, or a candle with scents to transport you back in mind to our hillside retreat.

On your way to the airport, stop off at Chapelle du Rosaire, it is just five minutes away but one of the world’s most famous sacred art monuments with exquisite stained glass.
Matisse began the project when he was 77 years old and proclaimed it his masterpiece.

As your plane or helicopter speeds you home look out of your window for a last sight of the hillside, medieval towns and clear turquoise waters that make up the beautiful French Riviera.
